Humans are insatiable. Myself included.
"I don't like one or a few of my family members."
Be glad you have a house, be glad you have a basic family unit. Social loneliness and helplessness is not something you want to experience daily.
"My life is in a big mess."
Be glad, by God's grace, you have survived the present and tomorrow is an opportunity to set things straight.
"I don't like my job."
Be glad, you have received education and possess a set of skills. But knowledge kills, faith builds.
"I don't have enough money to finance my ideal traveling habits and future house."
Be glad that you are not in dire straits. Some have experienced days where their bank account was zero and the next meal was unknown. Yet the Lord has been faithful and provided for them.
"Today's worship/sermon sucks."
Be glad that you have a team of volunteers and pastors to make your church-going possible.
"I don't have enough nice clothes to wear."
You have, look into your wardrobe.
"I'm angry that my boyfriend didn't give in to me."
Be glad you have someone to love and that someone loves you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
John 10:10 I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
